A collaborative ecosystem supporting FAIR and open research in the humanities and cultural heritage

H2IOSC brings together the Italian nodes of leading European research infrastructures in the humanities and cultural heritage, establishing a federated system for the dissemination of services, data, tools, and more. Through high-performance computing, user-friendly access points, and support for FAIR and open data practices, the cluster enables researchers to conduct open, interdisciplinary, and computationally intensive research. The shared environment fosters collaboration, reuse, and innovation, offering integrated digital resources accessible across domains.

    The RIs Cluster

Through the enhancement and federation of the Italian nodes of the four high-priority research infrastructures CLARIN, DARIAH, E-RIHS, and OPERAS, H2IOSC will develop a network of high-performance computing nodes connected at high speeds to the Italian research network.

These nodes will provide shared services for the creation, management, retrieval and reuse of open and interoperable digital resources and processes, including data, tools, and digital objects provided by participating infrastructures or produced by researchers.
